- (1) Repair or replacement of vital parts of your heating equipment whenever they become defective. Parts covered are listed below.
- (2) 24-Hour Emergency Service, at no extra cost, for repair or replacment of any part covered under this policy.
- (3) Complete annual tune-up and adjustment of your oil burner, including cleaning of heater and testing controls for safe and efficient operation.

Plan B provides the same labor protection as Plan A, but the cost of parts is not included.
All parts will be charged at our current regular price. However, Plan B still includes:

- (2) Complete annual tune-up and adjustment of your oil burner, including cleaning of heater and testing controls for safe and efficient operation.

Standard : $300.00 reimbursement toward cost of tank replacement. $19.95 + Tax.
Premium : Up to $1000.00 toward the cost of tank replacement. $31.95 + Tax.

Parts and Labor
Annual Tune-Up
The annual tune-up and efficiency check of your oil burner provides for the thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance necessary for your heating equipment to operate at peak efficiency. It includes among other things:
Cleaning combustion surfaces and flue passages
Checking and cleaning smoke pipe and chimney bases if necessary
Check expansion tank
Lubricate burner, blower, and circulator motors
Check for oil leaks
Change oil filter
Check and adjust electrodes
Check ignition cables
Clean burner fan and blast tube
Change nozzle
Check for proper firing rate
Clean stack control or cad cell eye
Inspect and clean out combustion chamber if necessary
Seal air leaks around clean-out openings
Clean transformer porcelains
Clean or replace air filters
Clean gauge glass if necessary
Check low water cut-off
Test primary control safety
Check draft control
Clean fuel line strainers
Check oil pump pressure
Adjust flame with instruments. Conduct efficiency test to assure maximum heat for your dollar.
All parts used and labor during the annual tune-up will be charged at current regular prices.

FINE PRINT CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS
GOVERNING OIL BURNER
SERVICE PLANS
(1) Final acceptance of this Oil Burner Service Plan is subject to our inspection of your heating system. Unless notified, this contract shall be automatically renewed annually.
(2) Customer agrees to purchase entire yearly fuel requirements from Knight Fuel Co. during the term of this plan.
(3) These Oil Burner Parts and Service Plans are subject to Government regulation.
(4) The Seller shall not be liable for damage or delay due to strikes, fires, floods, water in the cellar, freezing accidents or other causes beyond its control, including inability to procure necessary parts.
(5) Service calls resulting from burner failure caused by lightning, power failure, blown fuses, emergency switch-off, incorrect thermostat setting, boiler overfilled, flooded heating system, lack of water in boiler, frozen pipes or oil line, or other conditions beyond our control will be charged at regular rates.
(6) This insurance does not cover pot type burners, repairs made by other than authorized agents for this company and repairs to heating system or domestic hot water units.
(7) These insurance plans Do Not Cover labor and parts to the boiler or furnace or the accessories not specifically listed in the policy coverage; For example - tankless water heaters, circulator bearing assemblies, zone valves, relief valves, mixing valves, expansion tanks, electrical switches, flow control valves, piping, radiators, vent valves, duct-work, power venters, etc. are not covered.
(8) The oil storage tank and tubing are not covered. (see Tank Insurance)
